The Jacky Winter Group have teamed up
with Melbourne's GPO for a collaborative charity exhibition opening this Friday.
From the 1st until the 24th of June,
the whole first floor will be transformed
into a purpose built gallery showcasing
the artwork of 52 pretty amazing illustrators, fine artists, photographers and fashion designers,
including Beci Orpin, Akira Isogawa, Dawn Tan,
Each A3 piece is begun by one artist
and then sent to a second who completes the artwork,
pretty clever, huh?
It gets better, all of the original artworks
will be for sale at the exhibition
with the proceeds going to Fitted For Work, a not-for-profit initiative helping disadvantaged women find employment.
AND
I was lucky enough to be one of the artists
invited to participate!!
I have collaborated with two unbelievably talented artists,
Amanda Upton and Kristy Milliken,
(hopefully they won't be disappointed!).
xx
Oh, that's an amazing concept... I just had a quick look at some of the art you all created and it all looks just amazing..!
