Chain Mail

The Jacky Winter Group have teamed up
with Melbourne's GPO for a collaborative charity exhibition opening this Friday.
From the 1st until the 24th of June,
the whole first floor will be transformed
into a purpose built gallery showcasing
the artwork of 52 pretty amazing illustrators, fine artists, photographers and fashion designers,

Each A3 piece is begun by one artist
and then sent to a second who completes the artwork,
pretty clever, huh?

It gets better, all of the original artworks
will be for sale at the exhibition
with the proceeds going to Fitted For Work, a not-for-profit initiative helping disadvantaged women find employment.

I was lucky enough to be one of the artists
invited to participate!!
I have collaborated with two unbelievably talented artists,
(hopefully they won't be disappointed!).

You can see previews of some of the works here, here and here!

Pretty Lady

I will have a few pieces in the next group drawing show at Brunswick Street Gallery.

The opening is from 6pm on the 25th of May, so if you are in the neighborhood you should stop by!

Ready Or Not

It's coming around awful fast,
but the Finders Keepers Sydney Market is in two weeks.

Come visit me!
I'll have my prints as usual, as well as some limited edition Gocco prints, hand printed tote bags and even some original work.
See you there!

First Place

'The Living Sea' by Tin & Ed

'Victory Club' By Eirian Chapman

'Flora Australis' by Eamo Donnelly

'All's Duper' by Letitia Buchan

'Shelf Life' by Drunk Park

I love all of these letterpress prints from the 'Trophy Lives' exhibition organised by The Hungry Workshop.

Having a go at letterpress one day is definitely on my to-do list!

Go go gocco, away!

I have been playing with my Gocco a lot lately!

The only trouble is the colours don't scan up so well (the circles are gold in real life and the pink is actually a really bright neon) so I had to take some really bad photos to show you...
