Incy Wincy

I would be happy to let a family of spiders
live in my room if they could make me one of these.
I think it is possibly one of
the most beautiful things I have seen.

everything looks better in czech

These are from the book
'Animals We Love' by czech illustrator Mirko Hanak
and published in 1972.

I think someway or another
I will have to get my hands on a copy...

more finding and keeping...

Just a little feature on the Finders Keepers blog today
and if you are in Sydney,
you will have to come visit me
at the next event at CarriageWorks
on the 3rd & 4th of December.

lucky boy sunday

I happened upon these cute as bug's ear softies and pillows
by lucky boy sunday the other day.
They are kind of creepy in the very best way.

I don't know anything about this person
except that they make real pretty photographs,
and that's all I need to know.

enid, margot & lydia

Looking at portraiture this week and I remembered these
little ladies from issue 7 of Lula magazine.
They are by Swedish artist Jonas Lofgren.
Margot's my favorite.

triangles re-incarnate

Screen printing tuesday so i gave miss triangles a whirl.
She looked so pretty that I decided to
screen print her onto the my packaging
for the Finders Keepers market on the weekend.

Fun to look at & colour in!

help me audrey!

I'm suffering major illustrator's block.
Actually, maybe it's finishing block.
I cannot seem to let anything get finished
at the moment so I thought Audrey Kawasaki's work
might offer me some inspiration
but instead it just made me feel really bad about myself.

Thanks alot Audrey.
